SeaWind Aviation operates with three aircraft- 2 Dehavilland beavers and 1 Cessna 185, offering charter flights throughout Southeast Alaska, including Revillagigedo Island, Misty Fjords National Monument, Prince of Wales Island, Etolin Island, Petersburg, Wrangell, Sitka and Juneau, and Prince Rupert, B.C. Our Dehavilland Beavers can carry the same load of a standard boat and can travel the same distance, in about a third of the time!
Our aircraft offer an increased useful load and a versatile “Alaska Door”, large enough to load your gear with ease. In the event your group requires a second aircraft to accommodate people and gear, we have options to suit your needs. Charters can be arranged as one way or round trip and can be to a beach or a dock, in a lake or on salt water. Download our Remote Cabin Packing List (PDF) for an idea of the total load per Beaver (approximately 1,100 pounds including people, coolers, fishing gear, etc). For information to help plan your departure, download our Remote Charter Flyer (PDF) or call us at 1-877-225-1203 and together we will figure out how to transport you to your remote destination!

“I have flown with Seawind Aviation the last two trips to Ketchikan and wouldn’t consider not using them for floatplane services. Steve, the pilot is great, Leslie the manager is awesome and all of the employees seem to be trying to make my vacation as fun and rewarding as they can. I trust them completely to get me and my friends to and from the airport and our destination with as little hassle as possible. They couldn’t be more accommodating. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone travelling through Ketchikan.”— TripAdvisor Review
