developed between the ocean to the west and steep mountains that loom over
Ketchikan in the east. Then fly above these mountains – the Ketchikan
Alps: tall, snow-clad spires that form the city’s backdrop. It's not uncommon to
see mountain goats or bears above the timberline, wild and uninterrupted.
During your flight, pilot
Steve Kamm provides a live interactive narration of the
fascinating natural and human history of the area. Also unlike a pre-recorded
narrative, all passengers are equipped with voice-activated headsets which
permits the pilot and our guests to converse back and forth.
